Thank you for your question. I understand your concern about the door not closing. This seems strange on this older refrigerator. The hinge on this model does not have an adjustment and this door does not use a closer. It's possible the hinge may be loose or it could be bent but it's not very likely. I suspect the most likely reason for this, will be due to the door gasket. If the gasket on the hinge side of the door does not slide, it can keep the door from closing. Check the gasket and if it's not sliding, you can use some petroleum jelly to help it. Also check the gasket to see if it's damaged and may need to be replaced. I hope this will help you.
