Thanks for the information about your range/oven model 790.95689302 sorry to hear you are having a problem, I will be glad to assist you. Based on the description you have provided I think that either there was a shorted wire to the elements or the control board has failed. I have attached a wiring diagram; you can trace the wiring to the elements looking for a break, and test voltage output to the bake and broil elements to determine if control board is bad. If you need to order parts here is a link to Sears Parts Direct.  If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services. Ron H.

Philip, Yes you should check the power from the clock/timer control to the elements, if it is not supplying power while set to bake or broil then it is bad, . Use the diagram provided. _Always disconnect power supply before servicing the appliance and when testing live voltage be sure to wear proper safety equipment (gloves and eye protection) also be aware of sharp metals on product_ If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services. 1-800-469-4663. Heater codes usually are an electrical issue with the internal heater of the O2 sensor and needs to be replaced. With the age and mileage this would be something a professional should tackle because it is probably seized in the exhaust and will need a torch to heat up to release.
