Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number er8yhmxsand if you are having issue with the unit not defrosting I will be a problem with bi metal defrost, the heater itself and or the adaptive defrost control item 4 in the diagram. Also clicking depending where it is coming from can indicate a failing start device relay. Clicking will usually come from the bottom rear of the refrigerator.
