Lyle, I hate to be an idiot but to use a grease don't you have to have some grease fittings on the gear box? What I have on the gear box is a drain plug on the bottom of the unit. I just figured you'd fill by taking the shift gear off the top. I figured a 90-140W lube would be used. Then my question would have been how full do you fill it because there is no level mark or plug that I can find. Thank you in advance for your reply. Verne

Q:

I am replacing the handle on the EH1 hot water dispenser. How do I replace the handle? EH1 Emerson Kenmore hot water dispenser

A:

I figured it out. Once you remove the broken parts just press the new handle down on top of the T and rotate around the T until it locks in.

A:

To remove and replace the handle you will need to turn off the water supply. Loosen the set screw securing the spout and remove the spout. Loosen and remove the upper mounting nut securing the dispensing to the sink or countertop. Pull the cover off which houses the handle. You will likely be better off replacing the hot water dispenser than replacing the handle especially if it's a few years old.
