Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the refrigerator. If the clicking is coming from the compressor the problem could be a defective start device. To check the start device unplug the refrigerator and remove the access panel on the back. Then remove the electrical cover on the compressor. Once the cover is removed take the start device off the compressor and shake it. If you hear, anything rattles in the start device it defective. I have found a video that shows how to replace the start device. I am not impressed on the quality of the video but it should help. Click here to watch the video. If you need to order the start device please visit our parts website: Sears Parts Direct .

Please let me know if you need further assistance on the repair of the refrigerator.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Thank you for using Manage my life.
