Question and Answers

Q:

Refrigerator also freezer doesn't make cooling ED5FHEXNS01 Whirlpool Side-by-side refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your refrigerator. Upon researching model ED5FHEXNS01; it sounds like the capacitor may have failed. The capacitor allows the compressor to start, so if the capacitor fails it will not start the compressor causing the compressor to try to start making a clicking noise. When the compressor cannot start due to the failed capacitor the compressor overheats causing the compressor to get hot, this can eventually ruin the compressor. I have posted a link of the capacitor to view the link click here.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

Q:

Water leaking ED5FHEXNS01 Whirlpool Side-by-side refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help with your refrigerator. Upon researching model 59677603804; this unit uses a water valve to control the flow of the water. One of the tunings would have to have a hole or crack in it for there not to be any pressure in the water system. There is a panel on the back of the refrigerator. Remove the back panel and you could access most of the water system.

Thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.
