Thank you for submitting your question. Yadira has provided you with good testing information for the ice maker. I recommend following the advice of our Expert Lyle. Also, I would make sure the ice bin was insert back in correctly after removing it. Half sized ice cubes is also an indication of the water filter needing to be replaced. Your water filter should be replaced every six months. The filter change information is provided on page 6 of your owner's manual . I hope this information helps.
