Glad to help out.   Im  looking. at your Kenmore Refrigerator model number ED2VHEXVQ00.

I would check out the water valve.   You have a dual water valve and one of the ports may or seem to have closed.

Thank you for your question. I know it's disappointing when the ice dispenser stops working. A good check first will be to press the lever in slowly and listen for a clicking sound. If you do not hear this sound it will indicate that either the switch has failed or the actuator is not making contact with the switch. This can be determined by removing the front cover. With the cover off, you will be able to see the switch and actuator. To remove the cover, use a small screwdriver and pry the bottom of the cover free and then lift it upward to free the top tabs. Be sure to disconnect the power first. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.
