Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how important it is to have a properly working refrigerator. The most likely cause is the tubing as you stated. The tubing needed is a 1/4 inch copper tubing to replace. We don't provide information on replacing the tubing because it's better to have a plumber do this type of work. I would suggest finding a local plumber to do the work or visit our partner site ServiceLive.com to find someone local for this work.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

Good afternoon..... I can appreciate your concern and I'm wondering if it might not be a frozen inlet tube that might be causing the problem. I did locate a link that will discuss this situation in greater detail. Though this link discusses a different model number, the mechanics are likely going to be very similar. Keep in mind that an expert will be responding within the next two business days if not sooner and will likely offer you more information and instruction. Thank you for your question. I know it can be disappointing when the water and ice quit working. When both the ice and water dispenser stop at the same time, the most likely problem will be with the water valve. This is the valve in the back of the unit that the water supply line connects to. To determine for sure some voltage checks would need to be made. A technician may be needed to make these checks. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
