Thank you for your question. I understand your concern about this water leak. A very common reason this type of leak occurs is, when the fill tube in back of the icemaker freezes. This will create a back pressure that can cause this leak. Lower the icemaker (see picture) to check the fill tube. If the fill tube is frozen, a hair dryer can be used to clear it. Just be careful not to get it too hot. This happens when the water valve does not seat all the way and allows water to trickle through. In this case, the water valve # 4318046 would need to be replaced.

If the tube is clear, the fitting # 2196157 may need to be replaced. The clamp # 488878 and tube insert 4387491 will probably also need to be replaced. See second picture. These parts are available at SearsPartsDirect . I hope this will help you.
