Thank you for your question. I know it can be disappointing when the icemaker stops working. This icemaker has some test terminals on the module that may help determine what the problem is. To access the terminals, pull the front cover off of the icemaker. The terminals will be marked (see picture) and using a well insulated jumper, place it between the L - V terminals. Be careful this is a hot (live) check. With the jumper in place, water should flow to the icemaker. If water does flow, the icemaker # 4317943 will need to be replaced. If no water flows but you can hear a humming noise, the water valve # W10408179 will need to be replaced. If nothing at all happens, some voltage checks will need to be made. A technician may be needed to make these checks. I'm listing a site you can access, to have a tech come out. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services . If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.

Gene, I'm sorry the new icemaker has not produced any ice. Sometimes jump starting a new icemaker helps to get it going. This can be done in a couple of ways. You can manually fill the icemaker mold with 4.5 ounces of water or you can cycle the icemaker by inserting the jumper between the T & H terminals. This will start the icemaker into a cycle and after approx. 12 seconds, remove the jumper. If the icemaker will not harvest the ice in the mold now, the problem could be the temperature is too warm. If the temperature gets above 12 degrees, the icemaker will not cycle. In this case, usually adjusting the control to a colder setting will correct the problem.

Thank you for your question. The latest information indicated there was 120 volts to the icemaker but still would not cycle when T & H were jumpered. This indicates the new icemaker itself has failed and will need to be exchanged.
