Q:

Unknown Code of E00 ATF6700FS1 Frigidaire Washer

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there is trouble with the washer.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Frigididaire Washer model number ATF6700FS1.

I searched all over service and tech manual for the E00 and there was nothing there.  It just stated that there should be an error code right befor or right after that code.  The E36 code did make sense and says control board problem and replace the control board which you have already done.  I would then check the wiring for any bare wire or burnt wire or knotted wires.

Getting that Error code of E00 then I would contact Frigidaire or our SEars service crew whose phone number is 1-800-469-4663 and let them know of  your problem.   I am sorry again but it isn't in the manual.   I checked on lin for other people who also had the Eoo and couldn't find the problem.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter and I hope we can help you with your future questions and repairs. Thank you for choosing Sears and using our SearsPartsDirect.com.

Thank you for your question on the noise during preheat.

I believe that the convection fan motor runs just during preheat on the regular cycle.

One thing you could try to see if it is the convection fan motor or motor mount is to open the door during preheat to see if it goes away.

If it is then I would have a technician find the reason for the noise.

You could also try using a convection cycle and the fan will stay running all during that cycle except when you open the door. If the sound goes away when you open the door then it is related to the convection fan area.

You may want to check the convection fan grill in the center of the back wall of the oven to see if it is loose.

Please let me know what you find out and we can continue to troubleshoot with that information.

Thank you for your question on the pilot going out.

Yes they are right it could be wind from a certain direction that can cause a down draft and blow out the pilot.

It is more likely however that the thermocouple is failing.

You can pick up a 36 inch thermocouple for the furnace.

I show a generic part number of H06E-36.

Thermocouple .

I hope this will work for you.
