Q:

Error Code F06 and E06 WFW94HEXW2 Whirlpool Automatic washer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your washer. Upon researching modelWFW94HEXW2; the F06 E06 error code indicates that there is a communication problem between the control boards. Yu can unplug the washer power cord and make sure that all the wires are connected properly between the boards. If the connections are ok then a technician will need to diagnose the problem to find out which of the boards is causing the problem.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thanks for choosing Sears.

Q:

Whirlool Washer WFW94HEXW0 assistance WFW94HEXW0

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you're having with the washer not starting. I know how frustrating that is to have happen.

I do not see error code E06 being a valid error for this model of washer. The error codes would resemble a format like F6E2. None of the error codes end with an E06.

If the unit is not starting, it's likely due to one of the electronic control boards not communicating to the other boards. It could be an issue with a shorted relay, or an unsecure wiring connection. In situations such as this, we would recommend having a service technician assist with the diagnosis and repair.

If you would feel more confident having a Sears Home Service technician help assist with the diagnosis/repair, you can call 1-800-469-4663, or
click here to be directed to the page to set up service.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

They usually try to discourage folks from over riding any safety or door switches. But I will forward your question to an expert who will investigate the matter further and get back to you. You will hear from them within two business days if not sooner. Until you hear from us, have a nice day.

I know that it can be very difficult to have issues with your dishwasher. However, the door switch is not just an operational part it is also a safety feature. This prevents the water, which can range anywhere from 120 to 150 degrees, inside the unit. If the water is allow to escape it can result in 2nd degree burns. Because of this we can't recommend that you pass this switch. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

The reason I need to override the switch is for testing and demonstrating the operation of the dishwasher, of course this will be done only in the cold cycle of the dishwasher. I will add a switch that allows me to override the door switch for safety reasons. I know that disabling the door switch is not recommended and was forbidden by my teacher. I thank you for helping me in this.

I am very sorry but there is just no information available on this model. I have double check to make sure I didn't miss anything, but I was still unable to find even a wiring diagram for this. I was able to find a wiring diagram for a different model that may help. Just click on the image below to view it. The only way to bypass the door switch is to use a jumper wire to complete the circuit on the switch. This should be the violet and black wires (1 and 2). Please let me know if you need anything else. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
