Q:

How to install additional tines that came with part 99002572. DWC7400AAW

A:

Thank you for being Sears’ valued member and for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your question about the additional tines for your Maytag dishwasher model DWC7400AAW. I am so sorry you are unable to install them. I will be happy to help you with this.

It sounds like you are missing a couple of parts. The folding tines are held in place by two adjustment clips. I have included the link below for you to view the part.

If you are missing the clips, you can use the link to order them. It is difficult to describe how to install the clips. It may be better to see how it is done. If you search “video to install Y912709” you will see several videos that can show you the process of installing the clips and tines.

I hope this answers your question. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.

Thank you for your question.

I will try to help you with replacing the door latch on your dishwasher. Without a model number, I am not sure what model you have. Most models have to have the door taken apart access the latch. I have posted a few images below showing how to access the door latch on a few different models. Please look over the images to see if they match your model. If none of them look like yours please reply below with a model number and I will make sure to get you the correct instructions.

A:

I am sorry you are having a problem with the plug. I suspect you are referring to one of the electrical connections. Some of the connections can be difficult to remove. First, be sure the connector does not have any locking tab that has to be depressed. If it does not have a locking tab, the easiest way to remove the connector is with a flat blade screwdriver. With the power turned off place the screwdriver between the connector and the part. Once you have in, twist the screwdriver. This should force the connector off the terminals. If you cannot access the connector easily, use a pair of pliers. Grip the plastic part of the connector and gently rock it back and forth while pulling. Just be sure not to pull on the wires.
I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
