I understand how this issue would raise concern.  The symptoms you point out are all interconnected.  This is in the wash pump circuit and may be a loose or open connection in the wash pump circuit. I recommend running a diagnostic as a first step to try to narrow down the issue.  The first image below has instructions. Depending on the findings, checks need to be made on the heater and wash circuits. If you are comfortable making these kinds of checks, the electrical diagrams below can help.   I highly recommend having a technician make the necessary checks and repairs.
