Question and Answers

Q:

Why do the bottom drawers in food compartment get icy?

A:

This is usually an air flow problem. Adjust both controls to help regulate the air flow better. Set the refrigerator control one increment colder and the freezer one warmer. This will keep the unit running slightly longer and keep the air flow moving. Sometimes this problem can also be caused from the freezer section getting to cold and during the off cycle, some air will migrate back through the return air vent. This adjustment should also help regulate that. The sensors could also be a problem but a technician would have to make this check. If you need more assistance, you can resubmit your question with more details.
