Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The high pitched squeaking could be emitting from the drum bearing sleeve.  To access the drum bearing sleeve (key#3106) will require removing the drum. The noise could also be emitting from belt idler pulley, motor, or there could be a small hard object stuck in the lower front felt drum seal or possibly a worn out drum slide.

 I added images below showing how to access and remove the drum. The belt idler pulley will need to checked, the felt seals, drum glides and you can manually spin the motor pulley by hand and listen for any noises.

NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.
