Thank you for your question. Before we start replacing parts would you please try this.Check to see if you are getting 240 from the wall then 120 should be present at CN10 then there should be 5V dc on pin 3 and 7 on CN11.

The manual further explains this 5V is used to power the LCD in a standby mode, waiting for a keypress.

When a key or the LCD is pressed you should get 12 VDC and 20 VDC on two other pairs of wires.

"-Press BACK & MY CYCLE buttons at the same time for 15 seconds. This will wake up the display but with a statement that there is something wrong, and give you a GE phone number.

-Press Power, then Help, then both My Cycles & Back at the same time for 3 seconds, then EXIT from the LCD screen.
your display will tell what is wrong. now press MORE until you get to NEW DRYER SETUP button. press it and follow through the new dryer setup process. Now check to see if that worked.

We have a phone number called sds Kenmore connect when you call this number you will be asked to put your phone to the control panel the phone number is do a connect repair by phone. I hope this helps. Reply to this post if you have anymore questions. Thank you for choosing Manage My Life.

Why won't my model DPGT750EC1WW GE electric dryer heat?

You don't include many details about your problem other than the dryer does not heat. If this dryer is running but not heating you should get an error code to indicate what the dryer thinks is wrong.

If the dryer is running but not heating first I recommend you check the circuit breakers. It's possible for an electric dryer to loose one leg of the 240 volts so that it has 120 volts to run but no 240 volts to heat with.

Locate and flip the breakers off then back on to check for this problem.

The drum must be rotating. If the belt is broken then that can cause the dryer no to heat.

The image below contains the instructions for entering the diagnostic and you can try this to bring up any error codes that are in history.

This information should help narrow the causes of your not heating problem down. Try these suggestions and submit another question with any additional details for further assistance with this problem.
