Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If you have constant voltage at M6 when timer is turned on, I suspect the motor centrifugal switch contact M5 and M6 is not closing once the motor starts. If contacts M5 and M6 is not closing, the motor will not remain running when start is released. The motor kit #WE17X10010 can be ordered from Sears Parts Direct.

I added a larger image of the wiring diagram below. If contacts M5 and M6 is not closing when the motor starts, the motor is not going to remain running once the start button is released.
