The flow chart in the first image describes the operation of the gas valve system in this dryer. The second image shows the actual wiring diagram for your dryer. The third image shows the components in that gas valve circuit traced with an explanation of the ignition process. I provided a diagnostic test program in the 4th image below. The 5th image shows the testing information for the components. That information may help you determine the cause of your ignition failure. NOTE: This information is intended for technicians. Follow electrical safety guidelines when using this data. Unplug the dryer before accessing internal components. If you conduct live voltage checks, be sure that you wear proper safety equipment (electrical safety gloves and safety goggles). Unplug the dryer immediately after live testing is completed .

Make sure that you have an adequate gas supply provided to the dryer. That basic troubleshooting step should not be overlooked.

If the gas supply is okay, you could have a problem with the thermistor, the wiring or the machine PCB control board. The first image below shows a diagnostic test that you can perform on the dryer. That test should help you check the thermistor. The second image shows some more tests for that thermistor circuit in case you need it. The third image shows the full wiring diagram for the dryer. If the thermistor is okay, you could have a problem with that high limit thermostat. You can use the information in the 4th image to access the components in that heating circuit if necessary. Be sure that you unplug the dryer before accessing internal components.

This initial troubleshooting information may help you determine the cause of your heating failure. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.
