You could have a problem with the electronic control board or the dryer door switch. The control may not detect that the dryer door was opened so it may not start the cycle. Unplugging the dryer normally resets the control board and it would also simulate the opening of the dryer door. I recommend that you have a service technician diagnose and repair this problem. You can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .

If you want to fix this problem yourself, you can unplug the dryer and access the main control board as shown in the first image below. The second image shows the wiring diagram for your dryer with that door switch circuit traced in wire colors. I recommend that you check the wiring connections using that information. You can check the operation of the door switch using the information in the third image. The 4th and 5th images show basic access information for the dryer that you can use to access the door switch if necessary. If that door switch is okay and the wiring connections are good, then you will probably need to replace the main control board. You can view and order parts from this page: LG Dryer Model DLEC733W Parts . Be sure that you unplug the dryer before accessing internal components and replacing parts.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.
