I looked at the owner's manual. It appears that the Normal cycle uses the Medium temperature. If the control is defaulting to the Low temperature on that cycle, then I recommend that you unplug the dryer for 4 minutes to reset the control board. Plug the dryer back in and see if the control will work normally. If not, then the electronic control board will need to be replaced to fix that problem.

I hope that this information helps. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details.

Clothes need two things to dry. They are heat and air flow. By what you have stated in your question, you have heat. I recommend checking the vent. If the vent is restricted the dryer will heat up but the moisture is not removed leaving the clothes wet. To check the vent run the dryer and find the dryer exhaust outside. You should be able to feel it blowing out the vent. If you notice it is not blowing like it should you need to clean the venting from the back of the dryer to the outside. You could also remove the vent from the back of the dryer and run a cycle with wet clothes. If the dryer is located in a closed room, you should open the widow and door to allow the moisture to escape from the room. If the dryer works normally, the problem would be a plugged vent to the outside.

In order for the sensor dry feature to dry properly, you do not want to mix loads (fabrics) and you also need to have a fairly full load and not just a few items. The dryer must also be level or just a little lower in the front in order to insure the clothes the clothes will touch the two moisture sensor bars on a regular basis. The two metal sensor strips/bars could also have a coating of fabric softener on then preventing them from sensing moisture correctly. Locate the two metal strips located inside the dryer below the lint filter grill and wipe them clean with a clean cloth with some alcohol on it.

If you are still having problems after checking the issues above, then you could have a component failure in the dryer. A bad heating element or a problem with the thermostat could cause this problem. I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair the dryer if it is apparent that you have this type of component failure. Service can be scheduled at the following link: Sears Home Services . I hope this helps.
