Q:

Electric Dryer DCVH680EJ1MS...dont ligth on the buton power and dont work DCVH680EJ1MS Ge Electric dryer

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. I regret to hear that you are having issues with your dryer and do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. Im looking at your model number DCVH680EJ1MS and from what you are describing it seems like the dryer may not be getting power to it. Some dryers outlet have a circuit breaker at the breaker panel. Also make sure all connects are properly pushed in. If the machine is receiving the proper 220volts it needs you may want to have the control board tested. I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link below to be taken to the page.

If you have further questions please let me know.
Thanks for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

In order to remove that housing you will have to remove the top panel, control panel, and the front panel. I am including the instructions for this below.

I recommend using a Coil Brush and a crevice tool with your vacuum cleaner. As you brush out the cover, you can vacuum the dust and lint out.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram and for parts purchases; Sears Parts Direct .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
