Question and Answers

Q:

How to access high limit thermostat on GE Dryer Model DBXR453ET3WW.

A:

I can fully understand your financial plight.... We will be happy to direct you in that repair. I have located three links I would like you to review. One of them will address testing the heating element. I did not find instructions using your model number. The other two links will refer to Kenmore models. These links may still be very helpful in that the mechanics will likely be very similar. You will still be hearing from an expert within the next two business days if not sooner. I hope this helps you and have a nice morning.

I believe the thermostat you need to access is located on the heater housing which is best accessed by removing the top panel. The image below will help you remove the top panel. Remember to unplug the unit first. I hope this helps.
