Thank you for submitting your question. I understand your concern and I will be happy to assist you. First, confirm that the compressor and condenser fan motor is running. Then I recommend removing the rear panel in the freezer and inspecting the evaporator coils and the freezer fan motor. If you see the coils frosted up, your experiencing a defrost system issue. Here's a great video to help you troubleshoot this issue. I hope this helps. Please reply back to this thread if you require further assistance. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Thank you. Had repairs done. Happened in May and again a month later. Could too much food in the freezer be causing this problem?

Over stuffing the freezer will cause it to over work itself and stop cooling. However, I believe the issue you're experiencing will be with the defrost system for your unit. I recommend following the testing information in the video provided above to determine what component in the defrost system has failed, if the unit is not over stuffed with food. I hope this helps. Please let me know how I can assist further.

Thanks for contacting manage my life about your refrigerator model CTX14AYXKRWH; sorry you are having a problem, I will be glad to assist you. If I understand correctly the freezer section has stopped cooling completely, here are a few things to check. If there is frost in the back of the freezer section you could have a bad defrost timer, defrost heater or defrost thermostat. If there is no frost in freezer but instead it is just sweating and or even dry on the back panel of the freezer there could be a clogged condenser coil under the bottom of the unit, a bad condenser fan motor also located under the bottom, this would cause the compressor to overheat and shut down thus stopping cooling process.  You can clean the coil with a vacuum and brush, if it is clogged this will help. Let me know if I can help further by replying with added details of what you observe and I will be happy to respond. Include any unusual noises and or smells coming from the unit.  If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services.Ron H.
