Hello,

Note: Working on a TV can be difficult and dangerous due to the high voltage circuits inside. Always remember to unplug any TV before trying to work on it and if unsure of the proper procedures, use the service of a trained professional.

I would like to assist you with your television question. Does the TV do anything? Does it have a standby light or is it completely dead? Your television has extremely high voltages in it and I do not recommend that anyone except for experienced television technicians service it. Sears Parts Direct is a direct link to parts for your TV, but many are not available at this time.

Sears Home Services is a link to arrange a service appointment by a Sears technician, or you may call 800-469-4663. Please let me know if you would like any further assistance.

Hello Mari,

OK, good to hear. Your technician will bu undoubtedly testing to the component level and will be able to source the parts at his normal supply house. If for some reason that is not the case, the links that I have provided above will allow him to source most of the potentially needed parts. Due to the completely dead current state, he will start by going through the power supply and isolating the failed component. After that he will follow the circuit to the likely and potential cause of the failure.

Please let me know if there is any further assistance that I may provide for you.
