It is possible for the water valve or the icemaker to cause no fill for the icemaker. If the temperature inside the freezer is getting above 12 degrees Fahrenheit, the icemaker will stop making ice.

I suggest you cover the ice bucket with aluminum foil at bedtime so you can count the number of cubes made overnight. This will give you the amount of ice made with no door openings. The icemaker should harvest every 2-3 hours if it is working normally.

Count the ice cubes and divide the number by 8 (number of cubes per harvest). This will tell you how many times the icemaker harvested. Divide this number into the number of hours since you installed the aluminum foil. This will tell you how often the icemaker harvested. If you have 8 cubes for every 3 hours of the test, the icemaker is working normally.

I would not replacing more parts. If you are unsure what the problem is it is best to get a Sears technician to repair the refrigerator. You can go to Home Services to schedule service.
