F1 code on Maytag model CRE9500ACE

Error codes can mean so many different things so not knowing what it means can be frustrating. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, I found some great links in the Manage My Life website. I have attached the link below. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "F1" fault code indicates an issue within the electronic oven control board. One of the pads on the oven control/clock is shorting out. It could be related to moisture but not likely because of humidity in the air.

The oven control board will have to be removed by a service technician and sent in for repair and then when received will be re-installed by the technician. There are no new control boards available. The control board will have to be sent off and rebuilt.

You can have the control board removed by a Sears technician and sent off by the technician to have the control board rebuilt. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
