My Sony CFS-W50 Cassette Corder CFSW50 Sony Sony fm/am stereo cassette recorder

Thank You for choosing Sears and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your radio and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number cfsw50 and the cassette uses a motor and belt to turn the cassette so that it can run the tape along the head. If the cassette is not turning it is possible that the belt may have broken or the motor has failed. If the cassette is turning then you have an issue with the board for the cassette. Here is a link that has additional in-depth information on the function of the cassette player. Just click the blue link above to be taken to the page. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for choosing Sears
