Q:

owner manuals on CAV2000AWW CAV2000AWW Magic Chef Magic chef laundry

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
I see this Magic Chef washer was manufactured around 2003, but may have sold for a year or so afterwards. Unfortunately, it appears that Magic Chef has since discontinued production of the manual for this model, and we no longer have any in stock or available digitally for download. I look extensively for it online, but was not able to find a owners manual available. I did see a couple of options for a service manual, but there is a price for those and they don't cover operations, just various repairs.
You could go onto the Magic Chef site and inquire into the availability of the manual for the unit, that would be the best option I could recommend.
For convenience, I have included a blue link below that you may click on to be directed to the Magic Chef 'Contact' page to inquire into the manual's availability.

Thanks so much. I have been around the net but not much luck.I talked with magic chef today & they were to send some info but as yet no info. One thing my husband was wondering how to get the back levelers to work. he said they slide up & down. Our renter said to my husband do you have a use for a good washer and dryer he was a student all through school for now and had no use for it. My husband told him sure he had a Granddaughter that would love to have them but needs to find out how to level them. If you have any info on this please send. Thanks! Thanks for the response Jean.

Sometimes you have to tap on the feet to release the locking mechanism. Tilt the washer up in the back & use a small rubber mallet to tap on the bottom of one of the self levelers; this should cause the leveling legs to drop down. Now, when you set the washer back down the self levelers will automatically level out. They can be a little stubborn if they've been in the same position for a while.

Hope this helps!

You will have to supply a few more details about this problem. Is the water leaking from the bottom of the tub or the top?

You can lift the top by using a putty knife to release the clips holding the top.

If the leak is during the fill cycle I suspect the flume has a blockage causing a water spray.

Try to lift the top and take a look.

You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.
