Q:

deck deflector replacement 917.273373

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I was able to find an image showing the torsion spring orientation within the bracket and deflector. You have to hold the deflector and spring in position then slide the hinge pin in. First, you have to remove the push nut on the end of the hinge pin. Usually you have to use a pair of diagonal cutters to cut the nut off. After you have the nut off note the position of the spring. In order to install the spring and hinge rod you will need to remove the hinge bracket from the mower deck. Removing the bracket will help remove tension from the spring so that you can position the spring on the deflector and then slide the hinge rod through the spring.

I believe that pump to have a rating of about 12GPM. I do not have any documentation for that particular model, but the other models I do have info on that are the same size show to have around 12GPM on them all.

Thank you for using Manage My Life!

Do you have access to a pump chart or curve for the other similar models? I am interested in whether the pump is designed for 140-160 foot heads (counting friction etc.); some 12 gpm submersibles are and some aren't.

At 150ft the GPM will be about 2.8. At 100ft it will be about 8.6. I posted a link for one that is considered a "replacement model" for yours.
