The problem reattaching the cover can be concerning. I did some research on your model number and part number but was not able to find information on reattaching the cover. I can understand how frustrating it is to have issues with your vacuum. The image below will show you how the canopy cover is removed. Just follow the directions in reverse to put it back on. Thanks for the information on the checks you have made. The code you refer to does not indicate that a part be replaced, but does make a suggestion to check the on/off or ice level switch. I have attached an image below. There is also a shut off arm assembly available through our parts department which I will provide a link Refer to item number 19 on ice maker page.Sears PartsDirect .

I am unable to provide a service manual for this product, as I only have data sheets. Because of the complex ice maker system I strongly suggest calling an experienced technician to come diagnose the problem. I hope this helps, should you need additional assistance please reply and provide a brief explanation of the type problem you are having and I will be glad to respond.
