Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Based on symptom and details it will need a new machine control board. If you inspect each resistor on the machine control board you will likely find R11 resistor burnt. If this resistor is burnt, the wax motor will not receive the proper voltage in order to extend and close the spin enable switch. Your original wax motor is what likely caused the R11 resistor to burn/over heat. Be sure to leave the new wax motor installed before having the new machine control board installed.

The machine control board #22004325R for Maytag model MLE2000AWW can be ordered from Sears Parts Direct.
