Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when you are needing to order parts and not sure of things.   I can tell you this that sometimes the pictures aren't exactly perfect.   By your model number BC2400TYPE3, I have found the "carburetor adaptor".   It is an original part so there should not be andy difference to it.   It is supposed to be an exact replacement.

I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link below to be taken to the page.

If you have further questions please let me know.

The weed eater is great for helping get done around the yard. I did research on both the model number and part number but was not able to find a solution. Your expert will be able to help answer your question. It may take two business days for your expert to reply. I do hope that everything works out.

If the piece is not the same as the original piece then it's for a different "type". I've run across this a few times and it's enough to make you want to pull your hair out. Look on the model number/serial number sticker on the machine and see if there is a "type" number along with the model number. There are 6 different "types" of this model number and the adapter is different on them all.

Thank you for using Manage My Life!
