Q:

weedeater barracuda sv22 manual

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem finding the manual. I looked up the part number for the manual and it is 530-083733. The SV30 has the same manual part number. You can use the SV30 manual for your blower.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Joanne, I am sorry the manufacturer does not offer a service manual for their products. I should be able to assist you with cleaning or rebuilding the carburetor. I found a great video that shows how to do this. Click here to watch the video. The video shows a carburetor on a trimmer but the steps are the same once the carburetor is removed. The carburetor is secured to the engine with two screws. Just remove the screws and note the fuel line locations before removing them. Once the carburetor is removed, follow the instructions in the video. If any of the parts of the carburetor are damaged you will need to replace the carburetor. The reason is there are not any parts available for the carburetor. I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you for using Manage my life. Mark T.

You will need to remove the side covers to access the fuel tank. Once you have access to the fuel tank you will see the connection on it. They basically are designed so the fuel hose passes through the wall on the fuel tank. You will need to trim the end of the line at an angle so it can be pushed through the hole, and then pull it out from where you put gas in and trim it straight and add the little filter. Then pull the line back through the other way and make the carburetor end connections.

Hi Wade, I have this same blower and it does not stay on, granted it has sat with old fuel etc for probably 5+ years. Where do I start since I do not have the manual and there are none available. Would love to have it repaired for this fall. Thanks, Joanne

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the trimmer. If the fuel mixture in the trimmer is older than 5 weeks old, it should be drained. Then refill with fresh fuel mix. If this does not help I suspect there is a problem with the fuel system. I recommend checking in the fuel tank first. When you look in the tank, you should see a fuel line with a white filter attached to the end. Then inspect the fuel line. If it is hard and brittle, it has to be replaced. If the fuel line is fine, I suspect the carburetor is to blame. The carburetor will have to be cleaned or replaced. Before you remove the carburetor, make sure to note the fuel line and cable connections. This will save a lot of frustration later. The parts for the trimmer can be ordered from the following link. I hope this helpful. If you need further assistance, please reply below with more details.

If the blower was stored without fuel, you may not have to do anything but add fuel mix. This unit does not have oil in the crankcase. The oil for the engine is mixed with the fuel. The fuel cap should have the fuel oil ratio printed on it. Once you have the fuel tank filled with fresh fuel mix check the operation. If it was stored with fuel in the tank, pour it out and refill the tank with fresh fuel mix. Then try to start the engine. If the unit will not start let me know I will be happy to give you the instructions for diagnosing the unit. Thank you for using Manage my life. Mark T.
