Thank you for contacting ManageMyLife.com regarding the latch on your Frigidaire washer. I'm happy to help you today. If you are looking to replace the door latch assembly, part number 131763202, you would access the component through the front of the unit.

Here is a video that shows how to replace that door lock assembly: Washer Door Lock Replacement. Your washer may be slightly different but the basic repair procedure is the same. The new lock assembly may be different than the original one but it should fit and work properly.

I really hope this information helps you today. For further assistance, please respond to this thread. Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

Hi Joe,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

The first thing I recommend is checking for error codes. The error codes are extremely important in the diagnosis of this type of washer. This washer has a way to recall error codes. If the control detects a problem it will identify it with an error code. I am including this information in a set of images below.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website; Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram or purchase any parts needed for your appliance; Sears Parts Direct .

Please perform the diagnostic tests detailed here and report back with your findings. Be sure to record any failures and when they occur along with any error codes that are displayed.

Joe,

The tech sheet states, the drain pump relay on control board failed or wire off pump. Replace the control board or wire. The control board monitors the drain pump and will not allow for spin with too much water in the tub. If the control is misreading the drain pump and thinks water is still in the tub it will not spin. Check the wiring at the drain pump or you can ohm the wiring and the pump. If the wiring is good and the drain pump ohms at 12 ohms replace the control board.

I hope this is helpful. Check the things I have covered here and if I may be of further assistance please reply to this post.
