Question and Answers

Q:

Ice Dispenser Cover ASD2522VRW00 Amana Side-by-side refrigerator

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. I regret to hear that you are having issues with your fridge and do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. Im looking at your model number ASD2522VRW00 and to remove the cover on this model, insert a small screwdriver under the bottom and pry it outward at each corner. When the bottom of the cover pops loose, then slide it upward, to free the top tabs.  If you have further questions please resubmit your question for further information.

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.

Q:

loose refrigerator door handle

A:

I can appreciate your confusion over not seeing any screws that would permit you to tighten your door handle.  You will need to remove the trim above and below the handle to access the hidden screws that secure the handle to the door.  I have located a link that will discuss your situation in more detail.
Click here to view the link.  Though this link discusses a different model number,
the mechanics are likely going to be very similar.  Keep in mind that an expert will be
responding within the next two business days if not sooner and will likely offer you more information and
instruction. I hope this information will be helpful and have a nice day.

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance.

I referred to the parts list and It has you handles affixed to the doors with screws the stick out from the door and a set screw actually holds the handle tight to the door. See below.
