Q:

Refrigerator door will not stay closed 79575553401 Kenmore Elite Refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your refrigerator. Upon researching model 79575553401; the top plastic latch on the refrigerator door is part of the door so a new door would need to be replaced. The left hand door for this model has been discontinued and is no longer available, we do not have a substation.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

This was incorrect advice. It might be too late to help this person, but the latch is contained in the door gasket, part 4987JJ2002D for the left side door gasket. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/kenmore-elite-refrigerator-parts/4987JJ2002D/0046/795/model-79575553401/0583/0161000.html I had the same problem, order this gasket and replaced it along with the broken latch. The latch is on the gasket. For the left side you need gasket 4987JJ2002D. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/kenmore-elite-refrigerator-parts/4987JJ2002D/0046/795/model-79575553401/0583/0161000.html

Thank you for your question. That kind of noise from the washer would be a concern. This could be coins or some other object stuck under the basket or between the tubs. The image below can help you check for that possibility. Due to the level of noise and that this occurs in the spin cycle, I suspect it is most likely the bearings. There is a bearing kit #W10435302 available. You would also need a special tool, #W10447783 . It can be ordered at Sears Parts Direct . This does require a technician visit to order. You can schedule a technician at Sears Home Services .  If further help is needed, please reply.   Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Coins in the pump make a rattling sound as the washer empties as well as during the spin cycle. The pump is accessed from the rear and it may be necessary to loosen the pump to get the intake/outlet hoses off so you can insert a tool or finger to slide the coin up and push it out the outlet. Getting the hoses back on is a bit of a challange. This will take care of the noise but you still need to remove the basket in order to check for lost items (we found a small towel and undies, the cause of oders) and check the filter for more coins.

Q:

My mower does't seem to pull very well any more. It just don't want to pull my sweeper. 917287260 Craftsman Tractor

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more then happy to assist you. Looking at the information when was the last time you did a tune up? Spark plugs, air cleaner, spark plug wire, and oil change. This would improve performance and would give you the power you need to pull your sweeper. Also make sure the sweeper is working properly, everything is moving freely any resistance would cut into performance too. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can Click Here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Hope this information has help you, any further questions or concerns. You will have to post a new question because at this time I can not reply to any comments. Again, Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.
