Does the ignitor have to be removed to test it? AGS28AWF Speed Queen Dryers

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

You will have to remove the front lower access panel and possibly the front panel to access the components for testing. You will need to disconnect the component before testing it for continuity with an Ohm meter.

I added an image below with the procedures of removing the front lower access panel and front panel.

NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.
