Q:

Range burner will not click to ignite AGR5835QDS Amana Amana cooking

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there is trouble on the range.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Amana Range model number AGR5835QDS.

On each burner there is an ignitor in each burner.   When all are working and just having trouble with the one.   You don't hear the clicking.   It is the ignitor for the burner that you need.

Just a few more question... How do I get to the burner ignitor? There does not appear to be any way to remove the burner to pull out the ignitor and replace it with a new one. My owners manual says that this range has sealed burners that are secured to the cook-top and are not designed to be removed. If that is the case, then I should I go about changing the ignitor? Please help. :) Also, I should have mentioned this in my first post. The ignitor (on the bad burner) light when I turn it on but I have to turn on another burner to the light position for it to generate the spark (on the bad burner) and click. The bad burner just wont click or spark on it own when I try just that one burner that does not work.
