Q:

Dishwasher Heating Element Won't Turn Off

A:

I understand that your dishwashers heating element is not turning off and how this can be a big concern. I have taken some time to research your question here on the Manage My Life website and I noticed that someone else had asked a similar question with a posted response from an expert. I attached the link below if you are interested in viewing. I hope the link that I provided is helpful. Have a great day.

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If the heating element is staying ON continuously then I must assume the control board has stuck heater relay. The control board will need to be replaced.

Note: Your specific dishwasher may also need to have a new heating element and heating element supports installed if the serial number falls within a specific range.

If you have a BLUE DOT located near the model/serial number tag then it already has had the kit installed. If you do not see a Blue Dot stuck near the model/serial number tag I recommend calling (866)931-7379 to validate if your model is affected and to schedule service.
