Thank you for your question on the location of the spring for the throttle on the pressure washer engine.

I have found a picture of a 10A900 engine series that may help you with the spring connections.

Pick one of the three styles you have.

I will send you a picture below that I hope will help you.

Remove the tank/carb assembly and take the carb off of the tank. Now clean the tank out completely and pay special attention to where the carburetor sits on the tank. The areas beneath the carburetor act as the bowl to the carburetor and will hold water and trash, which could cause this to happen.

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the engine. There could be a few things going on. There is a diaphragm and gasket between the carburetor and the fuel tank. Usually that diaphragm is the problem. When you push the primer the flappers on the diaphragm close and force the fuel into the carburetor. If they are not closing because they are dry, it will not prime. I recommend replacing the diaphragm first. To do that you will need to remove the fuel tank and the carburetor. Then remove the screws securing the carburetor to the tank. Once removed scrape the surfaces clean and inspect the tube that goes into the tank. If you see any cracks or holes in the tube, the carburetor has to be replaced.

I have looked up the kit and it is part number 795083 and can be ordered from our parts website: Sears Parts Direct .

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired by a Sears technician. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations: Sears Home Services .

Please let me know if you need further assistance with the engine.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
