A:

Thanks for the information about your refrigerator model A3316ABSARWW; sorry you are having a problem, I will be glad to assist you. Based on your description of the noise and how you get it to stop temporally, I do believe the fan motor need replacing. It appears the bearings have worn out in the motor. I have researched and found a link to a new Evaporator motor. If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services.Ron H.

Hi,

Thank you for asking this question and allow me to answer it this way.

Your refrigerator has in the freezer compartment an actuator for the vents on the back wall. This opens the vent for the cold air to flow into the refrigerator section.
I would recommend you check the vent and the baffle behind the rear wall.
Remove the screws holding the rear cover to the back wall and pull the panel out. Check the turn knob and the baffle the make sure they function correctly.

I hope this answer is useful and that it helps you correct the problem with your appliance.
Thank you for using ManageMyLife.
