Thank you for your question. I understand your concern about the fill tube icing. This type of problem indicates the water valve is not seating good and allowing water to seep through. The water valve # 12002193 will need to be replaced. Its available at http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-number/12002193/0046/464&pathTaken=partSearch&blt=14&prst=0&shdPart=12002193&sid=MMLxexpertxmerch . I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.

How tough is it to replace? Do you have replacement instructions?

Bryan, there are no instructions to replace the valve but it's not very difficult. First disconnect the power and shut off the water supply valve. Remove the back panel cover to access the valve. Now, disconnect the water line from the valve and you will be able to remove the screws holding the valve and remove it from the cabinet. With the valve out, pay attention to the water tubes and wires, so you can connect them the same way on the new valve. I'm attaching a picture with instructions of how the fittings on this valve work. I hope this will help you. If you would rather have a technician make this repair, you can call 1-800-469-4663 to schedule a tech to come out.
