Q:

Part number 919.176430

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect. I will be more than happy to assist you with your Craftsman compressor.

From the information you have provided above, after researching model number 919.176430. Unfortunately the part is no longer provided by the manufacturer. The part is obsolete. The only thing I can suggest is searching with the part number on the internet and see if anyone still has a listing for it. The part number is TA-4188.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business, have a great day.

Q:

Need exact model number for air compressor I dont Know

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
Sorry to hear of the difficulties with finding the model tag, I know how frustrating that can be when you need specific parts or information.
You are right, the model tag can be on the belt cover for these models. I have a Craftsman compressor pretty close in design to this myself, and I know my model tag is on the tank itself. They can vary location depending on who the manufacturer was that made the compressor. We have a few different makes available. If you don't see the model tag on the belt cover, check around the tank body. We won't place the tag in a hard to read location, it will be readily available within sight. If you don't see it, it could have worn off over time and usage. If that's the case, you will have to try to match it up the best you can by doing what you are doing.
Typically, if the pump is servicable, it will have a sight glass for oil level and the oil fill plug will be in a pretty easily accessible location. Model 919.186430 is a permanently lubricated unit. The motors can be used on quite a few different models, so that may not be a clear-cut indicator for a comparable model.
If it doesn't appear you have a pump oil sight glass or a pump oil fill cap in plain sight, it is more than likely permanently lubricated, but without a model number, it's hard to say for sure. Do another check around the tank body and see if you can locate the tag for it.
Hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
