Q:

How to Remove the top cover off the air compressor 919167260 Craftsman Air compressor

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help with your air compressor. Upon researching model 919167260; there should be four screws holding the case together. Usually a long driver is needed to reach the screws. Look for four deep holes and use a flash light to see how deep they are.

Thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

Thank you for the reply, however in the parts diagram there is no part listed as "manifold" could you provide a part number. Also I would like to restate my issue to be sure you understand the problem and are providing the correct response. The compressor runs fine, it builds pressure however when it reaches about 70 psi it starts to build pressure more slowly until it reaches about 90 psi at which point it keeps running but will not build additional pressure. This is registered on the main pressure gauge not the regulated pressure gauge. There are no leaks and if I turn it off it will hold pressure. Please confirm your resolution and provide ordering info. Thank you.
