I'm afraid there are no repair manuals available for the machine or for the engine. I do know that Tecumseh (when they were in business) published some general repair manuals that can still be found on the internet for sale, but I do not know of anywhere that allows a direct download. The machine itself does not have a repair manual for it as the information was taught at yearly update classes and factory training.

If you have any specific questions concerning the machine I'll be more than happy to assist you.

Thank you for using Manage My Life!

Ron, Without a model number, I can only give you general information. If the engine is not running correctly and you had not adjusted anything, I recommend checking the fuel first. If the fuel is more than 5 weeks old, I recommend draining it out and refill the tank with fresh fuel. I the fuel is fine I suspect the problem is in the carburetor. Usually cleaning the carburetor will cure this. I found a video that shows how to clean the carburetor on a majority of our mowers. Click on the following link to watch the video. How to Clean the Carburetor on a Lawn Mower I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you for using Manage my life. Mark T.

We do not have a DVD or video link for this procedure.

This is a fairly simple procedure on this model though. If you look on the top of the engine you should see 2 screws (1 on each side) that go through the plastic of the tank. Take those 2 screws out and this will free the tank. Lift straight up on the tank (with the screws removed) and it will lift out from the engine shroud. Notice how the plastic of the tank is made to "fit" into slots on the shroud. When you go back in with the new one, push the tank so the plastic slats go down into the slots on the shroud.

Once the tank is lifted off the engine you can use a pair of pliers to squeeze the fuel line clamp and then back it down the fuel hose a few inches. Then the hose can be removed from the fuel tank. Push the hose onto the nipple of the new tank and then use your pliers to put the clamp back in place.
