I looked up the blade for the mower. The original blade that came on the mower is a mulching blade. The part number for the mulching blade is 406713 and can be ordered from the following link. The blade adapter is stuck.

It may need to be soaked in penetrating oil, rust buster or oil. Coat it and sit the machine upright and give it about 30 minutes for the oil to soak down the shaft.

After soaking the adapter and shaft put the mower on it's side and with both hands and both feet planted against the mower give it a pull.
