I have attached a photo of how the cable should appear on the engine where it attaches. If the cable is connected right and you still have a problem getting the machine to start it may be due to something else.

Let me know what you find out.

I have the attachment like the picture shows but at the other end the cable is too long. I am attaching pictures to show my problem. I just do not understand why the cable is too long.

It looks like the cable has been stretched out. In the photo of the handle area, I can see that the strands look different as if it's been stretched. If that's a new cable it's the wrong one, but it does appear to be stretched.

I believe on this model there is a screw and a bushing on either side that holds the axle in place. The bushing is shaped so it should "bind" into place when the screw is installed on each side. The manufacturer does not publish a specific "procedure" for this and I do not have one of these models here for me to take photos and do the procedure here as a demonstration. But, from looking at the drawings it should just be a matter of setting it in place, positioning the bushings, and then installing the screws.

A:

Understanding our power equipment helps us keep it running smoothly. I always get answers from my owner's manual for my equipment. I found and attached the manual for your mower. I see that page 13 has a pretty good diagram and instructions that should help see what fits where. Hope this helps!

The center hole in the blade is for the blade bolt. The two outside holes on the blade fit onto the blade adapter. I have provided you with an image below showing the blade adapter. Place the blade against the blade adapter so the two pins of the adapter fit into the outside holes of the blade. If you do not see the pins, the adapter has to be replaced. I hope this is helpful.

If you need further assistance, please submit more details below.
