Thank you for your question.I am sorry you are having a problem with the mower. The end of the wire there is a crimped metal part that connects to the plug. First, use a pair of pliers to remove this metal part from the boot. Then use a pair of needle nose pliers to open up the crimped end of the connector. Once it is open up inspect the end of the wire. If the end is mangled up, cut the insulation back to expose more of the wire and fold it back. Then slip the connector over the wire and crimp it down. Give it a little tug to be sure it will not come off. If it is ok, slide the boot over the connector and push it onto the spark plug.  I hope this is helpful.  If it does not cure the problem, please reply below with more details.  Thank you for using Manage my life. Mark T.

Thank you for your question.  Working on a lawn mower can turn into a a real project.  The blade adapter should remove with the blade.  I recommend using the procedure outlined in this post .  I located a video that will provide more of a visual.  Never mind the issues with the block of wood.   If further help is needed, please reply.
